June Tompkins


Mrs. Tompkins brings a wealth of experience in community leadership in healthcare and child organizations to the St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital Governance Board. In addition, she has work experience in commercial real estate and the airline industry prior to raising her four children.

Her extensive volunteer experience includes serving as President and Volunteer Advisor for Atlanta’s Alliance Theatre STARS program; supporter and board member of the Alliance Theatre Guild and President of Alliance Theatre Children’s Guild; board member of ARCS (Achievement Rewards of College Scientists, including committee work for the ARCS Annual Achievement Rewards Luncheon; Grady Health Foundation Board Secretary and Co-chair of the Grady White Coat Gala, and service as a board member and current Trustee of the Pete Nance Boys & Girls Club in Greensboro. Mrs. Tompkins also serves on the St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Foundation Board.

Mrs. Tompkins civic memberships include Skyland Trail Mental Health for Adults and Adolescents and the Georgia Council for International Visitors.

A resident of Reynolds Lake Oconee, she earned her bachelor of science degree in Behavioral Science and Business from Oglethorpe University, Atlanta. She is now retired, giving her the time and energy to give back to her community in her volunteer roles.
