From doctor’s notes to test results, MyChart does it all.

St. Mary’s now provides unprecedented access for patients to your own health information. MyChart is part of our new electronic medical record. It allows you to do everything from scheduling visits with your doctor to checking on test results. Here are key details:

What does MyChart do?

Want to ask your doctor about a medication you’re taking? You can use MyChart! Want to see when you had your last mammogram and schedule your next one? You can use MyChart!

MyChart gives you access to your complete St. Mary’s electronic health record and health care team. You can use it to:

  • See your provider’s notes about your care
  • Schedule office visits and mammograms
  • See dates and times of scheduled appointments
  • View lab and other test results
  • Review your medications
  • Get information about procedures
  • Communicate directly your doctor
  • View your account information and pay bills

We also use a version of MyChart called MyChart Bedside if you are hospitalized. After your hospital visit, you can use your MyChart login to access information from your hospital stay, too!

Is it safe and secure?

Yes. The safety of your health information is one of our top priorities. Your MyChart account is protected not only by your unique username and password, but by multifactor authentication. This means that when you login, MyChart also will ask you to verify your identity by sending you a one-time code via text or email.

I have a MyChart account with another system. Can I link them?

Yes. After you create your St. Mary’s MyChart account, you can link it to MyChart accounts you may have with other providers anywhere in the nation.

I have small children. Can I use MyChart to access their medical records?

Yes. MyChart allows parents and legal guardians to access the records of children under age 18, with a few limitations as children enter their teenage years. There are also ways for caregivers to access health information for older patients under certain circumstances, such as when an elderly person develops dementia and can no longer make healthcare decisions on their own.

MyChart sounds great! How do I sign up?

We make it easy to sign up!

  • Go to the MyChart page and create a new account.
  • Next time you go to see your St. Mary’s Medical Group doctor, ask the staff to help you create an account.
  • If you are admitted to one of our hospitals, just say “yes” when our staff asks if you want access to MyChart.
