Athens, Ga. – Janice Dunn, a highly experienced healthcare finance executive from Georgia’s Golden Isles, has been named the new Chief Financial Officer for St. Mary’s Health Care System, including our hospitals in Athens, Lavonia and Greensboro, medical group, multi-county home health care/hospice agency, and retirement community.

Dunn comes to St. Mary’s with more than 30 years of progressive experience in accounting, fiscal management, and financial leadership. She has served as CFO for Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick, Ga.; Saint Joseph Health System near South Bend, Indiana; St. Joseph Medical Center near Baltimore, Maryland, and Southwest General Hospital near Cleveland, Ohio.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Akron in Ohio and her master’s degree in business administration from Cleveland State University, also in Ohio.
