St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital brings a level of care to the greater Greene County area that is second-to-none for a small, rural hospital in Georgia – or anywhere else. As Giving Tuesday nears, we want to introduce you to some of the colleagues who make that exceptional care possible.

“Energetic,” “personable” and “devoted” – to her patients and St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital – are words often used to describe Jaci. With a doctorate in Speech Pathology along with prior studies in developmental pediatrics and communication at the University of Florida, her colleagues at Good Sam feel lucky to have Jaci residing in our area.

Jaci’s family works and resides in the Greene County area, which keeps her close and in-tune with the community and the services she provides, especially those related to rural pediatric autism and speech pathology here at Good Sam.

Jaci would love to expand the scope of her work, and her ideas for future programs have been well received by Good Sam's executive management and staff. Her heart is 100% invested in the development of programs related to autism, speech pathology, dementia and cerebral palsy at Good Samaritan.

On a more personal note, Jaci has worked with a child for the past four years who had a traumatic brain injury that led to loss of speech. This patient is showing remarkable improvement that Jaci attributes to the administration's support of new treatment avenues.

Jaci has big dreams to continue serving the community and further enhance the care she and Good Samaritan Hospital are able to provide, especially for our pediatric patients. You can help. On Giving Tuesday, Nov. 29, please donate to St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Jaci’s honor.
