Beatty and Fowler families support 2025 Heart & Soul Gala as sponsors
February 12, 2025GREENSBORO, Ga. – The Heart & Soul Gala, the region’s premier black-tie fundraiser, will celebrate a milestone event on Feb. 15 as St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital marks the 10th anniversary of its current facility. Longtime community supporters Tammy and Jim Beatty, as well as Kelli and Jerry Fowler, have stepped up to champion this cause, reinforcing their dedication to the hospital and its mission of providing quality healthcare to the region.
Tammy and Jim Beatty, owners of TCB Storage Facility and several commercial properties in the area, have been part of the community for years. As steadfast supporters of Good Samaritan Hospital, they have been involved in the Heart & Soul Gala since its inception, recognizing the critical role the hospital plays in sustaining the well-being of the growing community.
Kelli and Jerry Fowler of BankSouth Mortgage have built a reputation as one of the premier mortgage providers in the area, guiding families through homeownership while also demonstrating a deep commitment to local causes. Their ongoing support for the hospital underscores their belief in the power of accessible, high-quality healthcare for all residents.
“The hospital is a vital part of our community,” said Kelli Fowler with BankSouth Mortgage. “As Lake Oconee continues to grow, it’s important to ensure that everyone—whether longtime residents or new families—has access to excellent medical care. We are proud to support this event and the hospital’s continued expansion.”
Tammy Beatty echoed that sentiment, saying:
“We’ve watched the hospital evolve over the years, and its impact on the community has been invaluable. Supporting the Heart & Soul Gala is one of the ways we can help ensure that it continues to serve our families, friends, and neighbors for generations to come.”
Riezl Baker, community leader and chair of the 2025 Heart & Soul Gala, emphasized the significance of this year’s event.
“This gala is not only a celebration of the hospital’s 10th anniversary but also an opportunity to make a lasting impact. The funds raised will go toward expanding services, upgrading equipment, and continuing the mission of providing exceptional care close to home. We are grateful to the Beattys and Fowlers for their generosity in supporting this essential cause.”
