Georgia Power Donates to St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital as Top Presenting Sponsor of the Heart and Soul Gala

GREENSBORO, Ga. – November 5, 2024 – Georgia Power has committed to serve as the title sponsor of Lake Oconee’s Heart and Soul Gala, the premier fundraising event benefiting St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital. The company’s generous $50,000 donation will support mobile mammography and prostate screening services, enhancing access to essential healthcare for community members.

Riezl Baker, Gala Chair and a Hospital Foundation Board of Directors member shared her excitement about Georgia Power’s support:

The Heart and Soul Gala, celebrating the hospital’s 10th anniversary, will take place on Feb. 15, 2025, at the Ritz Carlton Reynolds Lake Oconee and is the area’s premiere fundraising black-tie event.
