St. Mary’s Internal Medicine to open second location on Chase Street
January 30, 2025Athens, Ga. – St. Mary’s Internal Medicine Associates will open a second location in February to provide more space for the growing practice and to better serve patients in parts of Athens-Clarke, Jackson, and Madison counties.
SIMA’s second location will be located at 658 N. Chase St., Suite 201, Athens, in a new three-story building near Prince Avenue. Dr. Kathleen Grant, Dr. Mohana Cherukuri, and Dr. Priscilla Biney will begin seeing patients in the new office beginning Feb. 3. All three physicians are accepting new patients.
The new location is easily accessible from Prince Avenue or the Chase Street exit on Loop 10, and is especially convenient for patients traveling on highways 129 (Jefferson Road), 441 (Commerce Road), 29 (Danielsville Road), and Ga. 72 (Hull Road).
St. Mary’s Internal Medicine Associates (SIMA) provides primary care internal medicine services for adults aged 18 and over. Primary care encompasses wellness and routine sick care, including ordering tests, diagnosing problems, prescribing medication, and referring patients to specialists as needed. SIMA providers take a holistic approach to health care, including not only physical health but also emotional and spiritual health.
St. Mary’s Internal Medicine Associates's existing office at 2470 Daniells Bridge Road, Building 200, Suite 231, Athens, Ga., remains the location for patients of Dr. Milene Argo, Dr. Brian Brewer, Dr. Robert Seminara, Dr. Samantha Avoke, Dr. Diana Blake and nurse practitioner Savannah Blasingame.
