About
Dr. Vasudeva is a fellowship-trained, board-certified neurosurgeon with particular expertise in the treatment of complex spinal disorders as well as general cranial neurosurgery.
He grew up in the Atlanta area and attended Roswell High School. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating with honors as a member of the Benjamin Franklin Scholars Program. He then completed a post-graduate fellowship in neurobiology at the National Institutes of Health before attending medical school at the Medical College of Georgia, graduating as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
Dr. Vasudeva completed his neurosurgery residency and a fellowship in spinal neurosurgery at Harvard Medical School at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He also taught neuro-anatomy lab for Harvard medical students and has published numerous peer-reviewed articles, book chapters and letters on neurosurgery.
In addition to providing patient care as a member of Georgia Neurological Surgery and Comprehensive Spine, Dr. Vasudeva works with a charity called SpineAid to provide spine deformity corrections for children in the developing world. His favorite recreational pastime is sailing.
