Offering a wide variety of outpatient services from radiology and diagnostics to rehabilitation, St. Mary's provide patients with convenience, quality care and the latest technology to fit into their active lifestyles.
St. Mary’s Laboratory Services provide a full range of state-of-the-art laboratory testing, from routine blood-work to the diagnosis of pathogens and cancers. The laboratory is fully accredited by the College of American Pathologists and the American Association of Blood Banks. St. Mary’s around-the-clock lab provides reliable, accurate results to assist your physician with your care. Highly skilled medical technologists, medical laboratory technicians, and phlebotomists staff the lab 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Through education and lifestyle changes, diabetes can be managed. St. Mary’s is committed to helping you manage your diabetes. The Outpatient Diabetes Education Department at St. Mary’s is recognized by the American Diabetes Association and offers individual appointments followed by two diabetes education classes. These classes cover all aspects of diabetes self-management from nutrition to reducing risk of diabetes-related complications.

- Persons affected by diabetes during pregnancy
St. Mary’s Diabetes Education Department will work with the patient, the patient’s family, and the patient’s physician to prevent long-term complications, improve diabetes management and blood glucose levels, and improve the quality of life. A physician’s referral is needed.

St. Mary’s Endoscopy Center, located on the first floor of St. Mary’s hospital, provides high quality nursing care with experienced staff, state-of-the-art facilities and the newest technology for patients needing endoscopic procedures.
Endoscopic procedures use tiny digital cameras attached to a flexible tube (endoscopes), allowing physicians to see inside a patients’ gastrointestinal tract on a video screen. The cameras help physicians identify polyps, inflammation, ulcers and tumors, and diagnose gastrointestinal conditions.
- Colonoscopy: looks at the large and small intestines
- EGD: observes the upper GI track
- ERCP: looks at portions of the liver, pancreas and gallbladder
- Bronchoscopy: examine the trachea and lungs
- Bravo pH studies: measures esophageal pH levels and helps determine acid reflux
Recovery time for these procedures usually lasts only 30-45 minutes. During this time and before the procedure, patients can relax in spacious, naturally lit private rooms with specialized nursing care.
