St. Mary's Foundation
The St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation and Good Samaritan Foundation were founded upon the mission to improve health care services that serve the communities of St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens, Good Samaritan Hospital in Greensboro, and Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia.
Each foundation’s primary purpose is to cultivate a culture of philanthropy with like-minded individuals, organizations, physicians, and colleagues to raise funds and awareness necessary to enhance patient access to high quality health care.
The St. Mary’s Foundation and Good Samaritan Foundation help our hospitals identify areas of need within the health care system and determine the intersection of community generosity and mission alignment.
The foundations offer various ways to give – including individual gifts, fundraising events, tribute gifts, matching gifts, gifts of stock, and legacy gifts through a will or an estate. All gifts are exclusively designated to the community and fund of the donor’s choice.
