Ways to Give

Giving Opportunities

Donations to the St. Mary's Foundation are vital to the continued success and growth of our hospitals, enabling them to provide exceptional care to the community. These generous contributions help fund critical needs such as advanced medical equipment, state-of-the-art technology, and essential healthcare services that directly improve patient outcomes. By donating, individuals and organizations ensure that our hospitals remain equipped with the tools necessary to provide the highest standard of medical care, making a significant impact on both current and future generations of patients.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, your gifts are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. Your donations may be given to a specific initiative, or service line, or to fulfill the hospital's greatest needs.

St. Mary's Foundation - Giving Opportunities - Georgia HEART Program

Georgia Heart Rural Tax Credit

Georgia taxpayers can receive a state income tax credit for 100% of the amount they contribute to qualified rural hospitals, including St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital and St. Mary’s Sacred Heart Hospital. This unique giving method empowers community members with the opportunity to pay their state income taxes – an expenditure that we are all required to make – and improve the financial condition and patient offerings in our rural hospitals. More information about the Georgia Heart program can be found on the Georgia HEART website or by contacting Bria Brown (Good Samaritan Hospital) at bria.brown@stmarysgoodsam.org or Lauren Papka (Sacred Heart Hospital) at lpapka@stmaryssacredheart.org.
