COVID-19 & Special PrecautionsWearing a mask when visiting a COVID-19 patient is essential to protect both the visitor and the patient. Masks help reduce the spread of airborne particles, lowering the risk of transmitting the virus in a healthcare setting. Since hospitalized patients may have weakened immune systems, wearing a mask ensures their safety while also protecting visitors from potential exposure. Following these precautions helps create a safer environment for everyone in the hospital.
|
Health & Safety GuidelinesFollowing health and safety guidelines when visiting a hospital is crucial to protecting patients, visitors, and healthcare workers. Hospitals care for individuals with weakened immune systems, making them more vulnerable to infections. By adhering to guidelines—such as hand hygiene, wearing protective equipment when required, and respecting visitation rules—you help prevent the spread of illnesses and create a safe, healing environment. These measures ensure that your visit is both supportive for your loved one and mindful of the well-being of everyone in the hospital. To help keep our patients and staff safe, please:
Your kindness and cooperation help us create a safe and welcoming space for healing. Thank you for being part of our St. Mary’s community! |
